Mr Mark Cullinan

Surgical Training:

Mark studied medicine at Monash University, graduating with Honors in 1994. His post graduate training was at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and he completed his Advanced Surgical Training in 2002. Mark went on to complete three years of Post-fellowship sub-specialist training at St Vincent’s Hospital (2003), Monash Medical Centre (2004) and The Princess Alexander Hospital, Brisbane (2005). He was involved in over 2000 Oesophago-gastric and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary cases, 750 of which were laparoscopic.

Academic positions :

Mark is a Senior lecturer for Monash University where he supervises the surgical program for the Southern Clinic school. He also examines for Melbourne University.

He is the Director of General Surgical Education and Training at Monash Medical Centre, responsible for the supervision of Surgical registrars and their training.

He is currently undertaking a Masters in Surgical Education through Melbourne University in Conjunction with The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Surgical Practice :

Mark has now been in Consultant practice for over 10yrs. He consults regularly at the Epworth hospital in Richmond. Mark also consults at Holmesglen Private Hospital in Moorabbin.

He operates at Epworth Hospital Richmond frequently and visits his patients there on a daily basis. He also operates at Epworth Hawthorn and Holmesglen Private Hospital.

Mark has public appointments at Monash Medical Centre and Sandringham Hospital.
